A.T.B.H.A. AWARDS BANQUET & MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The annual Awards Banquet was Friday, March 27 at the Clarion on the Lake. Eric Jackson was the featured speaker. His presentation took us back to where the Arkansas program was before Simulcasting, Instant Racing & Electronic Games of Skill (EGS) and where it is today as each of those became introduced and available to the public.

The incentive award percentages paid this year on 2014 earnings was 13.22% in Breeder Awards, 4.9% stallion awards and 4.36% in Owner Awards. The EGS expansion was completed and opened to the public in January 2015, therefore we hope those percentages will again increase because of the increased EGS handle this year and in the future.

2015 STAKES RACE RECAP

Alter delays because of inclement weather cancellations, the Downthedustyroad Breeders’ Slakes and Nodouble Breeders’ Stakes were run March 6th & 8th respectively.
