Arlington Offers Tri-State-Bred Racing

The 2017 Stakes Program kicked off February 24th debut of Arkansas-bred stakes races. Nine starters going forward in the Downthedustyroad Chris Polzin, Director of Racing and Racing Secretary at Arlington in Arlington Heights, Illinois announced that Arlington will write one race per day during their 2019 live meet restricted to Illinois-breds, Arkansas-breds and Louisiana-breds. The 2019 Arlington meet begins May 3 and runs through September 21, 2019. Mr. Polzin confirmed that these daily races are not Illinois preferred, as had been circulating at the onset of this announcement.

If additional information is desired, contact Mr. Polzin at (847) 385-7738 or on his cell at (847) 809-0221. The stall application deadline has passed, but this being the first year for this offer, and the late announcement of this program, stalls may be available for statebreds interested in this program. Stall Applications are also available in the ATBHA office.
