Here are some of the highlights from this issue…

Oaklawn had security present and opened its backside stable gate Monday, October 30. Truck loads of straw and bedding were seen entering the stable area to prepare the stalls for the arrival of the thoroughbreds. They will move in, get settled and return to their training routine to prepare for Oaklawn’s opening day – December 8th.

ATBHA’s annual awards banquet has been rescheduled to Friday, April 12, 2023, at Oaklawn Convention Center.
