Here are some of the highlights from this issue…

The ATBHA annual membership meeting and awards banquet was held at the beautiful Oaklawn Event Center. The food was outstanding and our guest speaker was well received and thoroughly enjoyed. Track announcer, Matt Dinerman, told the story of how his childhood dream of being a track announcer came true.

March 2nd was the 2024 debut of Arkansas-bred stakes horses at Oaklawn. First, for fillies three years old and up, was the Nodouble Breeders’ S. with a field of eight. Bohemian Bo led wire to wire to take the win for breeder/owner, Michael & Linda Mazoch. Willow Creek Road, a stakes winner in 2023 hung on for second, followed by Lochmoor, Navy Seal, Hit Scene, King Peanut, Peace Dog and Macho Rocco.
